Pangaea Zimbabwe AIDS Trust (PZAT) is leading the implementation of the Maximizing Options to Advance Informed Choice for HIV Prevention (MOSAIC) project in Zimbabwe. MOSAIC, a five-year (2021-2026) global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has a goal to help women prevent HIV by accelerating the introduction and scale-up of new and emerging biomedical prevention products. 5. Strengthening and sustaining local partner capacityto advocate for the design and implementation of high-quality product introduction activities and research.

  Under the strategic priority number 5 on strengthening and sustaining local partner capacity for MOSAIC, PZAT seeks to engage community Based/Civil Society Organizations (CBOs/CSOs) (as defined under section 5 of this call) that will be provided with capacity strengthening activities focusing on technical and research competencies, including in community/youth engagement, community mobilization, community education/literacy on biomedical HIV prevention options, Psychosocial support activities to support uptake and effective use of PrEP, advocacy, and demand creation. MATRIX aims to expedite R&D of products for prevention of HIV in women and meet the unmet needs of women at risk of HIV through engagement of those who are most impacted by HIV by identifying HIV prevention product preferences, needs and priorities to inform technical decisions. This will also be achieved through engaging with relevant stakeholders, end-users and key influencers in relevant locations.   Job Summary PZAT is looking to engage a full-time Project Coordinator to manage the day-to-day activities under MATRIX project based in Zimbabwe. S/he will be based in Harare with some travel around the country and the region for stakeholder consultations and facilitate rapid feedback for product development decision-making. This will occur through ongoing contact, on-site visits, individual and multi-site training, and participating in regional/national coaching group meetings.   Objectives for the QI coaches

• To provide QI coaching and impart skills to spread QI knowledge and create competencies across the QIC participating sites
• To establish sustainable QM Structures in the healthcare facilities
• To provide a link between the facility QI teams and the CATALYST study
• To promote a QM culture at all participating sites
• To enhance shared learning between facilities on successful quality improvement projects

  Duties and responsibilities

Support QI teams in the implementation of the Quality Improvement Collaborative	Setting up Quality Management Program structures at facility level e.g., QI Committee and QI teams; holding regular QI meetings at least monthly; developing annual Quality Management Plans; and developing of work-plans for QI projects Develop the improvement charter—the aim, objectives, and indicators—and orient new teams or new staff members in the use of the charter. Support the staff to analyse gaps in performance, test and implement changes Help the facilities and the district tackle challenges that arise during the improvement effort.
Conduct regular coaching visits/ support to QI teams	Conduct regular coaching visits and mentor the team to improve services through role playing, observation, and immediate feedback. Supporting facility teams in performance measurement e.g., data abstraction, verification, validation, and entry into the performance measurement database Asses the performance/functionality of the team
Maintain regular communication with the CATALYST Study management team and the project	Maintain regular communication on QI activities via meetings, email, or phone with the QI Advisor CATALYST study management team and the project officer.
Organize and facilitate learning sessions	Participating fully during the various peer learning platforms like the Regional Group meetings and review meetings Help teams prepare for their results’ presentation at learning sessions. Facilitate discussions during learning sessions.
Document and report on the QI effort	Supporting the documentation of key QI activities taking place at the facilities e.g., QI Committee meeting minutes, and QI Projects After each coaching visit, complete a report and forward it to the team, the project officers, and the district and provincial managers.

PZAT, as a partner in the ZimPAAC consortium has been working with the MOHCC to improve access to HIV prevention, care and treatment services for key and priority population groups in Zimbabwe.   Job summary The Economic Strengthening Officer will report to the Project Lead. Working closely with the Project Coordinator and Strategic Information Coordinator and Field Officers, the ES officer will oversee delivery of the DREAMS economic strengthening package in Bubi, Nkayi, Lupane and Tsholotsho districts under the CDC/Zim-TTECH funded DREAMS program. They will develop data collection and database systems for organizing data to store, analyze, identify, and report data and trends. Using their programming skills, they will develop data queries and scripts they can use to generate periodic and ad hoc reports for the study team. They will identify discrepancies in the data and liaise with site study coordinators and data collectors to resolve and document them. Position Summary The DSIEO will provide overall support for strategic information and evaluation to the DREAMS districts (Matabeleland North), the Key Population Program in Harare and AGYW program in Mazowe. The position is responsible and accountable for improving the quality of data generated by the districts, facility, and community service delivery platforms, as well as ensuring that data are accurately entered and reported timely onto the DHIS2 Database. The DSIEO works closely with the Programmes Officer/ Field Officer as well as relevant stakeholders in the district and technically reports to the Strategic Information Coordinator. Duration October 2022 to September 2023. Key Duties and Responsibilities The DSIEO will provide overall support for all SIE activities in the district of implementation. The DSIEO will ensure timely entry of data into DHIS2, Cleaning and analysis of programme Data; Monitor programme data generating process for ensuring high data quality standards across the activities; Generate all SIE reports at district level and support overall reporting of the programme data; Participate in strategic meetings and share SIE updates, progress on facility and community data management and data quality improvement activities and challenges; Train/mentor and build the capacity of DREAMS teams on SIE activities and data quality including coaching both SIE and program teams on optimal utilization of the DHIS2 database; Ensure timely data abstraction and reporting of the specific covered indicators in the district; Analyze routine weekly/monthly/quarterly data and provide feedback to programs on facility and community level performance, support documentation of best practices; Qualifications and Experience A quantitative Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, M&E, Public Health, Operations research, and other relevant related BSc in Health Sciences; A Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public health, biostatistics, M&E or similar will be an added advantage; Minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrated practical skills in health-related programmes monitoring; Proficiency and competency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and DHIS2 is a must; Experience working with multiple stakeholders and familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements will be an added advantage. Job summary Working under the supervision of the Programme Quality Coordinator, the Programs Intern primary role will be to support all PZAT Programs as needed, Duration October 2022 to December 2022 Key Duties and Responsibilities Works closely with the Programme Quality Coordinator to ensure smooth operations of all projects; Supports organization-wide activities, events, and campaigns actively and as needed; Contributes to the implementation of PZAT’s monitoring and evaluation strategy and framework; Participates in project design, development of suitable methodologies, work plans and budgets; Supports Programme Quality Coordinator in processing and reviewing progress reports for each project for consolidation quarterly; Contributes towards the development of Project IEC materials and messages, as appropriate; Assists in various capacity strengthening activities; Plans/facilitates/rapporteurs at project meetings, dialogues and workshops; Assists with fundraising initiatives, Any other programmatic duties as assigned. Qualifications, experience, and key competencies required Recent graduate holding a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field; Work related learning experience in the NGO or developmental sector is an added advantage; Excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills.
