Job Position: Casual Data Entry Clerks (Volunteer)
Location: Harare
Basic Function
The DECs will work under the direct supervision of the District Strategic Information and Evaluation Officer and will support the data entry and other strategic information and evaluation activities. The Casual Data Entry Clerks’ primary responsibility is capturing data into an electronic database for analysis, research, decision making, reporting and storage.
Job Description
• Captures disaggregated data from all PZ supported sites into an electronic database.
• Accurate capturing of data bearing reasonable judgement in carrying out the exercise.
• Capture all records and make sure that accurate data is being entered into the system.
• Check completed work for accuracy, liase with supervisor for incomplete records.
• Data cleaning and recording errors encountered during data entry.
• Verification of data from the source documents (KP_PREV Registers) during entry and completing error logs for discrepancies observed (reports for each verification task).
• Provide daily feedback to the Supervisor on progress including successes and challenges.

Confidentiality
• Please note the position requires individuals who are able to maintain high levels of confidentiality with regards to the programme data to be captured during the period.
• The selected individuals will ensure non-disclosure of any information or data relating to the programme and business of the project acquired in the course of duty, to any other person or organisation without permission, except in the normal execution of duty.
Qualifications and Experience
Who are we looking for?
• The applicant should hold at least a Diploma in Social Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies or other related fields from a recognized institution.
• Experience in KP Programming is a plus.
• At least one-year experience in data management and analysis in a busy healthcare setting and in a field directly related to HIV&AIDS and specified responsibilities.
• Previous exposure and experience working with healthcare delivery systems such as DHIS 2, EHR a significant advantage.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to organize work independently as well as work in a team.
• Relevant experience in documentation, reporting and records management is a requirement.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate in the local and national languages.
