Pangaea Zimbabwe AIDS Trust joins the rest of the world in commemorating International Condom Day celebrated on the 13^th of February each year. International Condom Day 2023 is celebrated under the theme: “Yours, Mine, and Ours.” This serves as a sign of love in which partners are urged to have a shared responsibility to practice safe sex all the time.

Moreover, this day presents a unique opportunity to remind and encourage people to practice safe sex by using condoms. Male and female condoms are effective in providing dual protection from HIV and AIDS, STIs, and unwanted pregnancies.

The AIDS and Healthcare Foundation (AHF) launched International Condom Day on 13 February 2009 as an innovative and light-hearted way to remind people that wearing a condom can prevent unwanted pregnancies and a range of STIs such as HIV.
