Combination HIV Prevention (CHIP) allowed me to amplify the impact of HIV prevention initiatives. As a CHIP champion, I strive to reach wider audiences, break down stigma, and provide accurate information. I am grateful to be part of the work on empowering communities to make informed choices about their health.

Young people need access to information about HIV prevention. Most of them, due to stigma and discrimination, have limited access to information that can empower them. Expanding safe, youth-friendly platforms for education can help bridge this gap and build confidence in seeking services. By addressing stigma and creating supportive environments, we can enable young people to make informed decisions about their health.

My journey as an HIV Prevention Champion at Pangaea Zimbabwe has been enriching. I’ve gained valuable skills in HIV prevention and community engagement, while building confidence to advocate for young people’s health and rights. This experience continues to inspire me to contribute to positive change in my community.

Through this experience, I strengthened my leadership, advocacy, and community engagement skills while championing the HIV prevention needs of young people. The mentorship, trust, and opportunities I received helped shape my confidence and professional growth, inspiring me to continue creating positive change in my community.
