PZAT has led and engaged in several programmatic and research activities focused on key affected populations in partnership with the MOHCC and academic, local and multi-national partners.     Job Summary The Data Manager will be responsible for assuring data quality for a 5-year multi-national research study (CATALYST). They will develop data collection and database systems for organizing data to store, analyze, identify, and report data and trends. Using their programming skills, they will develop data queries and scripts they can use to generate periodic and ad hoc reports for the study team. They will identify discrepancies in the data and liaise with site study coordinators and data collectors to resolve and document them. Working closely with both national and international staff -- including site staff, Data Managers in other countries, and the headquarters Lead Data Manager -- this position must be an excellent communicator and dedicated to detailed documentation.   Duration One year renewable upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding.   Key Duties & Responsibilities The incumbent will: Develop a country-specific data management plan; provides feedback on multi-national data management plan; Develop a secure database for tracking participants hosted on a local server; manages permissions and develops, follows and monitors adherence to strict procedures for access; Review all electronic data collection forms to ensure correct logic and that translated versions match English versions; meticulously documents and communicates to Lead Data Manager any discrepancies and/or requested changes; revises programming of forms upon instruction from Lead Data Manager; Develop logic checks/error specifications, tests data and performs user acceptability testing (pilot tests) to verify that error checks and programmed correctly; Work with field staff and Data Management Team to resolve data discrepancies identified during data verification and validation; Run scripts (daily, weekly, and monthly) on the study database to produce reports on study progress, adverse events, provide lists of contacts for the week to data collectors, and to facilitate selection of sub-samples; Along with entire study team, responsible for following all procedures outlined in the study protocol and study procedures manual and immediately reports any deviations; Establish and implement guidelines for the collection of data; Lead and/or assist in training data collection teams on data collection procedures; Manage study data collection equipment, including the loading, updating, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic data collection forms; assigning equipment to data collection staff; Ensure that data management plans and equipment used for the study adhere to all local and contractual regulations (e.g., national data privacy regulations, data sharing agreements, equipment purchased is 889 compliant; Liaise with field teams (Site Study Officers and/or data collectors), Country Study Coordinator and Lead Data Manager; Ensure adherence to policies that ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data, including adherence to FHI 360, sponsor, national and international standards and assists in providing data and documentation for Open Data submissions.   Requirements Strong understanding of relational database design and development; Strong knowledge of data management concepts, procedures and processes; Ability to program electronic data collection forms in ODK, RedCAP or similar; Sound knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL); Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff; Excellent teamwork skills; Experience managing data for clinical and non-clinical studies preferred; Fluency in English, fluency in (Shona or Ndebele) preferred     Qualifications, experience and competencies required Bachelor’s Degree in Health Data Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Life science, Health Science, Information Management or related field; Master’s Degree would be an added advantage.   To apply Interested candidates should submit their application letter and detailed CV, clearly stating the position being applied for in the subject section of the email to: admin@pzat.org by close of business on Wednesday 21 September 2022. The position is responsible and accountable for improving the quality of data generated by the districts, facility, and community service delivery platforms, as well as ensuring that data are accurately entered and reported timely onto the DHIS2 Database. The DSIEO works closely with the Programmes Officer/ Field Officer as well as relevant stakeholders in the district and technically reports to the Strategic Information Coordinator. Duration October 2022 to September 2023. Key Duties and Responsibilities The DSIEO will provide overall support for all SIE activities in the district of implementation. She is expected to attend consortium wide YAB meetings and contribute across MOSAIC workstreams illuminating the voices of Zimbabwean youths. She will report to the Project Lead and Deputy Project Lead. Duration March 2022 to December 2022, renewable on an annual basis upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding. Key duties and responsibilities: Actively participate on the MOSAIC Youth Advisory Committee to review progress toward project goals as a way of promoting accountability to end users/advocates, Support the development of the terms of reference for the YAC in Year 1, Provide feedback on selected youth/gender outputs (such as the Gender/Youth Strategy), Help inform work plan development, Serve as a platform for cross-country learning among young people, Attend regular meetings of the MOSAIC Gender/Youth Team, sharing their insights on both successes and failures to advance collective learning, Consult with other AGYW to feed into relevant MOSAIC activities and processes, Provide summary reports based on activities conducted / participated in. Key competencies: Minimum of 3 O - level subjects with a grade C or better, Prior experience as a HIV prevention, ambassador, PrEP champion, PrEP trial participant, or PrEP advocate an added advantage, Knowledge of HIV prevention and sexual reproductive health issues, Knowledge of relevant HIV prevention policies and procedures an added advantage, Good communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), Ability to work as part of a team, Computer literacy an added advantage, Willing to learn, Must be between the age of 18 and 24, Knowledge and understanding of the local language, Understanding the local socio-cultural norms of the community, Ability to use electronic devices.   To apply Interested candidates should submit the following: A 3-minute video addressing the following questions:
